Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SP - Duty and Assessment Team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being, and implementing effective interventions to support their development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Carrying out statutory duties in line with legislation and best practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to promote the welfare of children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with the relevant social work regulatory body. Experience in children’s social work, particularly within a duty and assessment context. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
