Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Family Help Team in Birmingham as a Qualified Social Worker. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing family situations, developing intervention plans, and working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely case records to comply with regulatory standards. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to collaborative decision-making processes.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in a family support setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
