Join our dedicated Children's SP - Help and Protection Team in Coventry as a Qualified Social Worker, where your expertise will contribute to the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. We are seeking compassionate, skilled professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. Your role will involve direct engagement with families, assessing needs, and implementing effective intervention strategies to ensure every child's right to safety and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Working closely with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
