We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children's SP - LAC Team in Shropshire. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children who are Looked After or at risk of entering care.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for children and their families Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required Providing direct support and guidance to children and young people in care Advocating for the rights and welfare of vulnerable childrenThe successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
