Join our dynamic Children’s Social Work team in Rotherham as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and improving the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of the Locality Team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of support and protection.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual circumstances. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and families under your care.To be considered for this rewarding position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in a locality setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
