Join our dedicated Assessment Team in Southwark as a Children's Social Worker (SSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including educators, health care providers, and community organizations, to develop and implement effective support plans.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding processes. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them access necessary resources and services.To be successful in this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working with children and families, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
