The Bradford Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote the welfare and safety of children, ensuring that their best interests are always prioritized.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual family needs. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in various settings. Managing a caseload effectively while adhering to statutory requirements and local policies. Collaborating with other professionals, including educators, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
