You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to create tailored support plans that address individual needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in need. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely interventions. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislation and policy. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Post-qualifying experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
