The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children and Families (C&F) Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a qualified social worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, developing and implementing intervention plans, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children in need and their families. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Carrying out statutory duties in accordance with legislation and local policies. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to relevant services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
