Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work Team in Rotherham as a Qualified Social Worker (SSW) specializing in Children and Families. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of vulnerable children in our community. Your expertise will help to assess needs, plan interventions, and provide ongoing support to families, making a significant impact in their lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to reflect on practice and enhance service delivery.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
