Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans in accordance with statutory requirements. Working collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Managing a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of service delivery. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive parents to enhance the care experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a children in care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in children's social work.
