The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Court Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As part of a dynamic team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, legal professionals, and other agencies, to deliver high-quality social work services that meet the needs of vulnerable children.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Preparing and presenting reports for court proceedings and participating in legal meetings. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legislation and policy.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly within court settings. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
