Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a dedicated Children’s Social Worker (SSW - CSW Team) to join our dynamic team. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in children’s social work, including safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
