Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a dedicated Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Barnet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the care and services they need to thrive.
As a Children's Social Worker within the CWD Team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families, developing tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and educational staff, to provide holistic support. Conducting regular reviews of care plans and ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures. Providing direct support and guidance to families, empowering them to navigate available resources and services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework and interventions in accordance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
