Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Rochdale. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to provide essential support and interventions, ensuring the best outcomes for children with disabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working closely with families to provide guidance, support, and resources that empower them to care for their children effectively. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and other professionals to coordinate services and ensure holistic support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services offered to children and families.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
