Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? North East Lincolnshire is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our Emergency Duty Team. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will provide critical support to vulnerable children and families in crisis situations, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.
As a key member of our Emergency Duty Team, your responsibilities will include:
Responding to emergency referrals and conducting assessments to determine the immediate needs of children and families. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to develop and implement safety plans. Providing crisis intervention and support to families in distress. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in emergency or crisis situations. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
