The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Families First Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to provide support and intervention where necessary. Your work will directly contribute to improving outcomes for children and young people, ensuring they thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate support services effectively. Providing guidance and support to families, empowering them to make positive changes. Adhering to legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families. Excellent assessment and analytical skills.
