We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker (SSW) to join our Families First/Initial Support Team in the London Borough of Ealing. This role is crucial in providing effective support to children and families, ensuring their safety, welfare, and overall well-being. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, agencies, and community partners to deliver tailored interventions and support services that promote positive outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments of children and families in need, identifying risks and protective factors. Developing and implementing care plans that meet the specific needs of children and their families. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support is provided. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local and national guidelines. Providing guidance and support to families to empower them in making positive changes.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
