The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Family Support Team. This role is vital in ensuring that children and families receive the support they need to thrive. As a Children's SSW, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to promote the welfare and development of children in our community.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans to address identified needs. Providing direct support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate effective service delivery. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.Essential qualifications and skills required for this position include:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
