Join our dedicated Family Support Team in Rochdale as a Children's Social Worker (SSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate professional who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and interventions that empower families to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to family support. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work capacity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
