Join our dedicated Family Support Team in Rochdale as a Children's Social Worker (SSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and community organizations to provide support and guidance, ensuring that children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families to develop tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and maintaining regular contact with families to monitor progress. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions. Providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers to enhance family relationships. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in family support settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
