Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Suffolk's Children’s SSW - LAC/CIN Team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting Looked After Children (LAC) and Children in Need (CIN), ensuring their safety, well-being, and development within a nurturing environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote positive outcomes. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national policies. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and families to enhance the care experience for children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in the context of LAC and CIN. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
