The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker (SSW) to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team (MAST). This role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Children’s SSW, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess needs, deliver support, and advocate for children and their families to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings, providing expert insight and recommendations for safeguarding decisions. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognised social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
