Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and skilled Children's Social Worker (SSW) to join our Safeguarding Team. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of vulnerable children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support children and promote their welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and statutory regulations. Engaging with families, providing support and guidance while working to empower them in safeguarding their children. Collaborating with schools, health services, and other agencies to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to continuously enhance your professional development.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (or equivalent regulatory body). Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children and families.
