Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Birmingham as a Children's Social Worker (SSW) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children, conducting assessments, and developing care plans that promote the well-being and safety of those in your care. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure that children's needs are met, and their voices are heard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Engaging with children, families, and professionals to promote positive outcomes. Participating in child protection conferences and meetings.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience working in children's services or safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
