Join our dedicated team as a Children's Social Worker in the Access and Duty Team at Hackney, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to referrals, conducting assessments, and ensuring that appropriate support is provided to children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Managing a caseload of complex cases, providing support and guidance to families. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to create comprehensive care plans. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
