The City of Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Adoption Team. This pivotal role will support children and families through the adoption process, ensuring that the best interests of children are always prioritized. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and external agencies, to facilitate successful adoptions and provide ongoing support post-placement.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments of children and prospective adoptive families to determine suitability for adoption. Developing and implementing care plans that reflect the individual needs of children. Providing emotional and practical support to families throughout the adoption process. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to the planning and delivery of services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
