Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Assessment & Intervention (A&I) Team in Oldham. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable young people in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing intervention plans that promote positive outcomes. Building strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working within children’s services, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse families.
