Join the dynamic Children's Social Work Assessment & Staying Together Team in Staffordshire, where your expertise can make a profound difference in the lives of children and families. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing family situations, ensuring the best outcomes for children, and supporting efforts to keep families together whenever possible.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with statutory requirements. Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the safety and well-being of children. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local authority policies. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., degree in social work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
