We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and provide appropriate support and interventions.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks, strengths, and needs Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, professionals, and other agencies Providing direct support and interventions to children and families to promote their well-being and safety Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to coordinate services and ensure effective safeguarding Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with regulatory standards

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working with children and families in a social work setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases

Additional requirements:

Experience in working within a statutory children's services setting is desirable Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding Opportunities for continuous professional development and training Competitive salary and benefits package
