We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in accordance with statutory guidelines. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to address identified needs. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with local authority policies. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
