We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health and education professionals, to provide holistic support Attending court hearings and meetings to advocate for the best interests of children Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reportsThe essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
Qualified Social Work (QSW) status and registration with Social Work England Experience working in a similar role within a children's services setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseloadIn addition to the above requirements, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
