Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Oxfordshire, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will conduct thorough assessments, develop tailored support plans, and collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children in need. Your expertise will be vital in identifying risks and providing interventions that empower families and enhance children’s well-being.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing support plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of child protection plans. Providing advice and support to families, ensuring they are informed and engaged in the process.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children’s services, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
