Join our dedicated team in South Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Assessment Team. In this role, you will assess the needs of children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while providing support and guidance to help them thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate support services. Providing advice, support, and intervention strategies to families in crisis.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
