Staffordshire's Children’s SW - Assessment Team is seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial and core assessments in line with statutory requirements. Developing and implementing child protection plans and support strategies. Working closely with families to provide guidance and support, while promoting positive change. Collaborating with a range of agencies, including schools, health services, and community organizations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's services, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
