Join our dedicated team in Surrey as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children’s SW - Assessment Team, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families. In this rewarding position, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children in need. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying risks, providing support, and empowering families to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting initial and comprehensive assessments of children and families. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to coordinate support services. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when necessary.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly in assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload.
