Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Wrexham, where your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in need. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to provide high-quality assessments, support, and intervention strategies to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable children. In this role, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and community partners to deliver comprehensive assessments and tailored care plans.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in accordance with statutory guidelines. Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies to address identified needs. Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with local and national standards. Engaging with children, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions to enhance service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility for registration). Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
