Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in accordance with legislative frameworks. Working closely with families to provide support and guidance, ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including schools, health services, and law enforcement. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all casework activities.

To be successful in this role, you must possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in safeguarding.
