Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work team in Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Children & Families. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring their needs are met through effective assessment and intervention.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
