Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Waltham Forest, where your passion for supporting children and families can make a real difference. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Qualified Social Worker to contribute to our Children and Families Team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to promote the welfare of children, ensuring their safety and well-being through effective intervention and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to address the needs of children and families. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Managing a caseload effectively, providing regular updates and reports to supervisors. Engaging with children and families to build trusting relationships and empower them through challenges. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.To be considered for this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification. Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience working within a children's social work setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
