Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children and Families Team in Durham. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their well-being, while working collaboratively with families to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans that support the welfare and development of children. Building strong relationships with families, children, and external agencies to facilitate effective support. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely intervention and ongoing monitoring. Preparing and presenting reports for court proceedings and multi-agency meetings.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse families.
