We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children and Families (C&F) Team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and delivering high-quality support to children and their families in need of assistance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with policy and legislation. Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance your professional development.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children's social care, particularly in a Children and Families context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
