Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work team in Wirral as a Qualified Social Worker (C&F Team) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in need of support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families. Working closely with children, parents, and guardians to provide support and guidance. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in accordance with policy requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children and families social work, ideally within a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
