As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and their families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families and professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to coordinate support and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
