Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a qualified Children’s Social Worker to join our Child and Family Help Team. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for vulnerable children. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and their families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families and professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to coordinate support and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
