Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Cheshire, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and enhancing the lives of children and young people. We are seeking a passionate and qualified social worker who is committed to providing high-quality support and intervention to children in care. In this fulfilling role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the well-being and development of children in care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies. Building strong relationships with children and young people, supporting them in expressing their views and wishes. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting, particularly with children in care. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a diverse caseload.
