Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Milton Keynes, where your passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families will be valued and nurtured. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is committed to supporting vulnerable children and ensuring their safety and well-being. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and relevant stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local policies and statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIC setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
