Join our dedicated team in Newham as a Children's Social Worker within the Children in Care (CIC) Team. We are seeking passionate and qualified social workers who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively to provide high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care while promoting their development and stability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, preferably within a CIC or child protection setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload efficiently.
