We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Nottingham. As a Qualified Social Worker in our CIC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Working collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes. Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence when necessary.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and working with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
