Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Managing a caseload effectively while adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., DipSW, BA Hons in Social Work, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly within a CIC setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners.
