Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Join our Children’s Social Work (CIC) Team in Oldham, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children in care. We are seeking qualified social workers who are committed to delivering high-quality services and ensuring the best outcomes for vulnerable children.
As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans for children in care. Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and reviews. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly within a looked-after children context. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
