Join our dynamic Children's Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team in Oxfordshire, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families. We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker who is passionate about child welfare and committed to driving positive outcomes for children in care. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring that children receive the support and services they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices. Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIC setting. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
