Join our dedicated team as a Children's Social Worker within the CIC/Court Team in Northamptonshire, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting assessments, and developing effective intervention plans. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that the best interests of children are always prioritized.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders. Representing the agency in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required. Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and interventions. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly within court settings. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
