Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our CIC/Court Team in Northamptonshire. In this rewarding role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs met.
As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in need. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to implement support strategies. Representing the local authority in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly within the court or CIC context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
